It was a privilege to know such a lovely, warm, kind and 'absolutely wonderful' man. I will miss our chats about your past. I will miss your smile, the songs and the laughter. And I will miss you.
Ah Poppa, you got your final wish in the end and can now rest in peace after a life well lived. Forever loved and forever in our hearts. Xx

Uncle afters. You knew how to light us up. It was different 40 years ago. Kids didnt have sweets on hand all the time, so when you arrived with not one packet of sweets but at least 6 packets or a bag full of smarties in a brown paper bag it was so exciting for us. We felt special for a moment and we felt noticed. Thank you for that happy memory x

Poppa, I’m sat in your room still not quite believing you are not here with me. You faced many challenges and each one you bravely took on and always bounced back. It felt like you would be here forever. Thank you. Thank you for the magical childhood, thank you for being our family man, thank you for always being there, thank you for being you.
